IA_CoMP
Interference Alignment and Coordinated Multipoint
IA_CoMP Documentation

IA_CoMP is the implementation of interference alignment and coordinated multipoint used in the paper: "An Experimental Investigation of SIMO, MIMO, Interference-Alignment (IA) and Coordinated Multi-Point (CoMP)", by Per Zetterberg and Nima N Moghadam, presented at the 19th International Conference on Systems, Signals and Image Processing (IWSSIP) 2012. The implementation runs on a special configuration of USRPs. The implementation uses four_multi , as a layer between itself and UHD. The user manual of four_multi , describes four_multi as well as the implementation of IA_CoMP.

There are two executables IA1_simulate and IA1_super_realtime . They are built by executing make IA1_simulate and make IA1_super_realtime , respectively. The simulator, IA1_simulate , can run without arguments. The simulator can load measurement files for post-processing. The executable, IA1_super_realtime , need super-user privileges, and the hardware setup described in Section 2.2 of the four_multi user manual . The IA1_super_realtime is generally run through the matlab script run.m , where super_node_ix=0 in transmitter computer and super_node_ix=1 in the receiver computer.
